Sexual Assault Volunteer Advocate Training

This course is offered for volunteers to become a trained sexual assault volunteer advocate in order to accompany victims undergoing a SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) forensic medical exam. Volunteer advocates also provide emotional support and information on resources available for the survivor.

Collaboration with hospitals, law enforcement, child advocacy centers, and community referrals make this training program an important resource tool for the survival of victims.
