Join us for the Safer East Texas Training, a powerful one-day event focused on preventing violence, exploitation, and trauma in our communities, while earning TCOLE hours, Continuing Nursing Education, and Continuing Legal Education hours.


Topics include sexual assault advocacy, human trafficking response, child exploitation investigations, IPV-related brain injuries, and community-based law enforcement collaboration.

Toiletries & Household Necessities Drive

Support local survivors during Human Trafficking Awareness Month

The FCC is hosting a toiletries and household items drive through January 31 to support survivors living in the Safehouse, Transitional Housing, and temporary housing. Donations of new and unopened everyday necessities are greatly needed, including shampoos, conditioners, body wash, bar soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, lotions and moisturizers, hair care products, mouthwash, floss, face wash, and hair brushes. The agency also accepts essential household items such as laundry detergent, dryer sheets, fabric softener, dishwashing soap, paper towels, and other daily-use necessities.

Donations may be dropped off at any Family Crisis Center office location in Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Crockett, or San Augustine. Community members are asked to call ahead before visiting the Nacogdoches, Crockett, or San Augustine offices to ensure staff availability.
