Child Advocacy

The Child Advocate provided over 5,400 services last year to residential and non-residential children that included child specific safety planning, educational assistance, school clothes and supplies, support groups, recreational activities, and referrals to therapy and other essential services. The Family Crisis Center continues to be committed to offering family oriented, positive activities and events for victims and their families. The Child Advocate plays a key role in developing, organizing, and running the activities, as well as helping the families build rapport, resulting in a unification of the families that last well beyond the Family Crisis Center's events.
